Superb Super

I have my Kala super tenor for about a week now and loving it. It has an awesome sound no standard tenor could produce. No flaws or machine marks anywhere. It feels nice in your hands. My only gripe is in design. Smallish nut width is actually ok because the frets are wider and you'll get your fingers in. Problem is at the saddle end where the string spacing is exactly the same as the nut. There is no splaying at all. So a bit tight for finger picking. This isn't a huge problem and I'll probably get used to it. Hence not marking down much. Great uke, even greater case though!! The case it comes in is awesome!!

Disappointing

This uke sounds great and the super tenor size is perfect, but the craftsmanship is very poor. There is a dollop of dried glue on the fretboard (17th fret) and the fretboard has some scratches and blemishes. You can do much better for the price, look elsewhere!
