If you place the MKI and MKII next to each other, you will barely notice a physical difference—it is practically a direct copy. However, the massive upgrade is the new processor. The boot time is finally down to seconds, the UI is incredibly snappy, and having 20 simultaneous FX blocks means I never run out of slots. Knowing Kemper’s legendary long-term support, the real reason to buy this is the future-proofing. It is an investment for the upcoming Profiling 2.0 updates and next-gen firmware. If your MKI is getting old, this is the perfect jump into the future.

Ein wirklich tolles Gerät, bisher keine ernsthaften Probleme. Die vorhandenen Profile sind sehr umfassend und man braucht fast nichts weiter. Abstriche gibt es bei der Dokumentation, die scheint aus der Sicht des Entwicklers geschrieben zu sein. Sie ist wenig praxisbezogen, ich musste oft lange nach Erklärungen für grundlegende Funktionen suchen. Zum Glück gibt es etliche Hilfen online, aber selbst auf der Kemper-Seite habe ich nicht sofort Problemlösungen gefunden.
Kleiner Kritikpunkt am Gerät selbst ist die Beschriftung der Schalter und Regler, die ist auf der Bühne nicht erkennbar.
Zweiter Minuspunkt ist das empfohlene Expressionpedal von MAudio, aber dazu gibt es eine gesonderte Bewertung.

Der Klang des Kemper Profiler Stage ist sehr gut und auch die Möglichkeiten des Geräts gefallen mir grundsätzlich sehr.

Leider ist die Verbindung zwischen dem Kemper Stage und Rig Manager auf meinem Mac nicht zuverlässig. Die Synchronisation friert regelmäßig ein, bleibt hängen oder wird nicht vollständig abgeschlossen. Teilweise wird der Kemper erkannt, aber beim Synchronisieren von Rigs oder Performances blockiert Rig Manager wieder.

Der Stage selbst funktioniert ohne Verbindung zum Computer stabil. Das Problem tritt bei mir hauptsächlich in Verbindung mit Rig Manager auf.

Gerade bei einem Gerät in dieser Preisklasse finde ich das sehr enttäuschend, weil Rig Manager ein wichtiger Bestandteil des gesamten Kemper-Konzepts ist. Man möchte Rigs bequem herunterladen, verwalten, ausprobieren und bearbeiten können, ohne ständig mit Verbindungs- oder Synchronisationsproblemen kämpfen zu müssen.

Der Sound ist wirklich gut, aber die Verbindung und Synchronisation mit Rig Manager sollte deutlich zuverlässiger funktionieren.

Für mich geht das Gerät deshalb zurück. Ich habe keine Zeit darauf zu warten, wann die Verbindung mit Rig Manager irgendwann zuverlässig funktioniert.

Primera Impresión Kemper Profiler Stage MK2

Tras larga espera por asuntos de aduanas en Canarias, llegó el Profiler Stage MK2 a mis manos.

Soy usuario de Kemper desde 2021, el Profiler Head anterior.
Debo decir que en sonido de este MK2 es genial, una dinámica muy buena, los perfiles de amplis creo superan al MK1, que ya es decir..., en fin, todo lo que se comenta de Kemper, lo suscribo.

La parte negativa.
Creo lo fabricaron a 200 x hora. El display no viene muy sujeto al chasis, tiene un ligero movimiento, así como el acabado lo encuentro "débil" para un producto que va a estar en el piso y que no es barato, cosa que me extraña en un producto Alemán. Me sorprendió negativamente la parte de fabricación.

Para mi, un 5 sobre 10. Por la parte de fabricación.
