Mooer Tender Octaver Pro

I bought this with the intention of using it on a live pedal board, to replace my Tender Octaver. In short, the build quality is excellent as you would expect but the good things about this pedal stop there. It isn't a patch on the Tender Octaver. I am using Mooer's recommended power supply for this aswell so the power supply cant be blamed.
Pros:
You can save multiple settings. It can be used for harmonizing and getting some weird sounds.
Cons:
The high octave is shrill and extremely digitized, it also fights against the dry with some funny oscillation once it is turned up to any decent audible level. The lower Octave is better than the high octave but still not as good as the Tender Octaver was. The smooth knob for swells is basically useless, its only usable range in in the last 1/4 turn of the pot, so its either off or fully on, since the pot is so small it makes it extremely hard to get what you want from it in that last 1/4 turn. The Dry signal is not really dry when the pedal is on, the smooth knob does affect it.
I have tried this pedal multiple times with different power supplies, amps, guitars and in different rooms, I really wanted to like it but it is just not good. Swing and a miss Mooer.

Je suis bassiste et je joue du stoner/noise rock, je cherchais un octaver sans jamais en avoir essayé, quelle fut ma surprise avec cette pédale !

Déjà elle a de la gueule elle est toute petite mais elle a l'air bien robuste.
Les preset d'usine sont très bon, c'est simple j'en est changé qu'un seul sur les 4 !
On peut y mettre une pédale d'expression, l'octave up et down sont parfait, les tones donnent de la couleur au son c'est géniale.

Mais le plus surprenant c'est qu'elle ne se laisse pas surprendre par la basse, que ce soit sur Stingray, Ovation Magnum ou Precision elle tient le coup sans montrer le moindre signe de faiblesse.

Je ne suis pas très fan de Royal Blood, mais curieux j'ai essayé leur technique de son avec cette pédale, aucun problème, elle fait ce que fait une EHX POG2 du moins pour leurs sonorités.

Pour du stoner elle envoi, on peut facilement avoir un son très massif style Truckfighters, Big Business...
Pour du noise rock, mon kiff c'est d'avoir un "son" de guitare, aucun problème pour elle, même en power chords, le son est légèrement coloré mais reste propre.
