Thomann 12H Ocarina C3 Edelweis red

This ocarina feels hefty, while still being great for both big and small hands. The hole placement is very easy to get accustomed to. The glaze of this ocarina is very nice. The back of my ocarina had some glaze rubbing off, with the paint being slightly discolored. However, this is a small issue for me, as this is on the backside of the ocarina, and every ocarina is handmade and unique. The high notes are very very easy to hit, with little to no acute bend being required. The low notes however, are a bit tricky to hit. It could just be my model, but the subhole notes take a big change in breath pressure to be in tune, and it's very quiet. But, other than that, this ocarina is very easy to play on, and very fun to play on as well! It has a nice tone, although a little airy. A great ocarina for the price though! You really can't get a better deal than that. Solid instrument! Thank you!

Die Ocarina lässt sich bis zu den hohen Tönen sehr gut spielen, alle Töne sind klar. Sie ist gut verarbeitet und klingt sehr schön. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass wohl nicht alle Edelweiss-Ocarinas gleich gestimmt sind. Ich habe auch eine blaue Edelweiss-Ocarina, die ist allerdings etwas tiefer gestimmt. Die rote habe ich verschenkt und wir hatten Mühe, im Duett zu spielen, weil die beiden nicht gleich gestimmt sind. Man kann es durch einen höheren Anblasdruck ausgleichen, es ist aber anstrengend. Wenn man alleine spielt, ist das natürlich vollkommen egal. Trotzdem würde ich diese Ocarina weiter empfehlen.

Je suis un amateur, je me suis initié à l'ocarina sur des modèles chinois en plastique plus "cheap", je suis très satisfait de cet ocarina. La prise en main se fait très facilement même pour boucher les 12 trous ,un très bon ressenti pour contrôler les trous 11 et 12 avec les majeurs. Embouchure agréable. Nous avons un son d'ocarina ,correct ,je trouve même chaud et feutré ,tout ce que j'attends d'un ocarina. La couleur rouge est jolie, les motifs en forme de fleurs aussi, pas dérangeants pour jouer.
A un prix vraiment très correct, un très bel ocarina fourni avec un étui souple (prenez en bien soin car la céramique ne survivra pas à des chutes), un livret fourni avec pour apprendre toutes les notes, même si la notice est en Anglais ou en Allemand, pas besoin de parler la langue de Shakespeare ou de Goethe pour comprendre ,le tout est de très bonne qualité et arrive dans une petite boîte en carton toujours très bien emballée et protégé par Thomann ,un travail de très grande qualité à leur habitude.
