Excellent monitors, I was amazed by the amount of detail. I never owned studio monitors before so decided to go with the reputable brand. I surely was not disappointed. Thomann was also impeccable since initially I choose the 8020D but found out I could arrange space for bigger ones and Thomann provided the best customer service I ever had when buying online. They provided a paid label with all the instructions and kept me informed on the process, the refund was also provided in 3 days. All the sound equipment I might need in the future will be bought at Thomann for sure!

Excelente custo benefício, som magnífico! O tamanho ideal para minha sala, graves encorpados e agudos na medida certa, já os médio cristalinos, de uma maneira, que faz você esquecer que existem monitores!

Pesam aproximadamente 5kg ideal pra algumas situações que preciso levar meu sistema de gravação para rua, leves e poderosas!

Detailed and lively sound

I bought the Genelec 8030 CP to replace my old M-Audio monitors and the difference is huge. The sound is very lively and intense, with well-defined bass / low-mids and crispy mids and highs. Genelec also offers some specifications to better suit the monitors to your space in order to achieve the best performances.
Less interesting features? The monitors don't have volume control, so I need to control it from the software / audio interface, which sometimes is a drag. The controls in the back are also a bit hard to manage, because they are so small.
But that's just small details, the overall experience with the 8030 is top-notch, either to mix or to record.
