I bought this item due to the problems I had with the previous nut on my guitar.
It makes a world of difference. Tuning issues such as string pinching and overtones are no longer a problem. When bending strings the guitar stays in tune perfectly.
Robust and well made, the slots are wider enough for even the heavier string gauges and no harsh breaks allow for the strings to move easily through them. If you want to shorten the width or height it is not a problem since the material, while being robust, is quite easy to sand down.
Fitting is fast and easy. 20 minutes (for the glue to stick) and you're good and ready.

I've struggled with staying in tune for years, particularly after any kind of serious string bending, usually on the G. This has solved the problém, to the amazing extent that after a week of perfecting the "Hotel California" solo, which is very bend-heavy, I have not needed to re-tune.
