I wanted a compact PA for solo gigs and this does the job. I am either solo acoustic or solo electric with backing tracks. Not used in my duo but sure it would handle most things. The app is great, saves fiddling around the back, the fx settings could be better, maybe in an app update in the future? Overall the sound is great, I’ve used a Bose L1 16, but not a fan of the build quality, flimsy. This thing ain’t flimsy, it’s a solid build, and therefore heavier than the Bose. The mixer part is good, I also have a Bose T8s mixer which I use sometimes with the Maui and it’s better than the built in mixer, but it should be, being £800…. That said the Maui mixer is more than adequate for most situations, I use the Bose at open mic nights if I’m plugging in stuff, saves going around the back…. Good product.

Ich habe bereits zwei Maui G3 (ohne Mixer) und bin sehr zufrieden!
Die MIX-Variante ist eine perfekte Ergänzung, da ich immer wieder mal in die Situation komme, doppelt aufbauen zu müssen. Empfang als Musiker (Sax) beim Dinner im Raum 1 und gleich anschließend im Raum 2 weiter als DJ. Keine Möglichkeit für einen schnellen Umbau und keine Lust für den ersten Part extra einen zusätzlichen Mixer aufzubauen. Genau für solche Konstellationen ist die Maui G3-Mix für mich eine super Unterstützung. Die Bedienung des Mixers am Smartphone klappt geschmeidig und zuverlässig. Alles da, was ich als Solo-Musiker mit Einspielung von Halbplaybacks so brauche. Funkmikro für Ansprachen angesteckt... klappt alles perfekt.
Dazu kommt noch der schnelle Auf- und Abbau - und die Kombi mit dem maßgeschneiderten Rollbrett ist dann sowieso eine super Lösung. Den Herrschaften am linken Tisch ist es zu laut? Kein Problem - ein schneller Griff zur Säule, die Maui mit einem lockeren Handgriff verdreht - und gut ist es... :-)
Preis-Leistung passt für mich sehr gut - deshalb klare Kaufempfehlung!

Une vraie merveille ! Après quelques tergiversation d'usage pour l'installation et la configuration, j'ai pu raccorder mes Maui 28 G3 Mix (avec 2 subwoofers et un retour DJ de la même série) à ma carte son Apogee Element 46 et commencer à les faire chanter raisonnablement une demie heure, à un volume très raisonnable, pour enfin le faire monter dans les décibels. Quel bonheur ! Beaucoup de précision, une belle image sonore dans un espace pour le moment plutôt réduit. D'autres essais sont à réaliser dans de plus grands volumes ainsi qu'en extérieur. Tout s'est bien déroulé avec Thomann et je reviendrai vers eux pour m'équiper d'un système supplémentaire (maitre) très certainement des EKX-15P/18SP Power Bundle.
