Otto Link Florida HR Tenor Sax 7 TW
Mouthpiece for Tenor Saxophone
- Tip opening: 7* (2.54 mm)
- Material: Hard Rubber
- Now available for the first time in a hard rubber version: the Otto Link Florida now combines the familiar design with the distinctive playing feel and tonal character of hard rubber
- Originally launched in 1955 as a lighter and more refined version of the classic Link design
- A higher roll-over baffle and a slightly smaller chamber deliver greater presence, clarity and a crisper sound, without losing the characteristic Link sound signature
- Quick response, clear articulation and powerful projection – even in louder environments, without any unpleasant harshness
- Ideal for modern musical contexts, larger ensembles and louder stages where projection is essential
- Retains the characteristic Link sound, whilst offering greater focus, definition and presence than the darker models
- Rather than imitating a metal mouthpiece, its specially formulated hard rubber offers a distinctive response and a unique tonal character
- The ideal choice for players who prefer the assertive Florida sound whilst also appreciating the feel of hard rubber
- Manufactured using a modern hybrid production process through a collaboration between JJ Babbitt and Theo Wanne
- Crafted from injection-moulded and vulcanised JJ Babbitt hard rubber, providing the foundation for its tonal character
- Precise finishing and improved process control by Theo Wanne for greater manufacturing consistency
