If you’re on the fence about the VE-500, I would recommend you get it.

Let me put it to you this way… My wife’s singing would hurt my ears and would even make the dog leave the room.

Once the VE-500 arrived and I set it up, I let her sing until she exhausted herself and left the studio. Her singing voice all of a sudden was not just bearable, it was incredible.

If this could make her sound like a pro, imagine what it could do for you.

I used the TC play acoustic and the play electric before this pedal. This pedal is a beast of a pedal. It does not have great documentation but if you are not scared of deep diving into it and adjusting parameters it will pay you dividends. It does not have a huge amount of presets like the TC but spend some time making them, you will have a unique sounding pedal suited to your voice and playing. You have control over every parameter and effect its very detailed and amazing. I use it in the studio aswell.

Ispent a happy two hours trying to connect with a Windows 10 and then a Windows 7 computer. Neither could find the driver for the editor.

Very good but very complicated!

It really sounds very good and has a lot of potentials to create anything you like for backing vocals (3 voices total), but it will take you a long time to learn how to do this! (So many parameters to tweak!!) At the end you can achieve a very good result (although, I believe the quality of the backing voices seems descent, but a little fake for the price you're paying..)
