Upgraded from a scarlet 4i4 since I needed more ins and outs. The device is pretty much plug‘n play. The setup and softwareinstallation on a windows based pc is straight forward. The software routing options are giving suficient choices for mixes.
The soundquality is looking for equal among the competitors in this pricerange due to the used high wuality ad and da converters.
The integration in protools and abketon is seamless and the latency is negligable as long as the proper drivers are chosen.
Overall a top product in its pricerange.

a very good upgrade to your home studio

finally getting to update my home studio , not wanting to break the bank as its just a hobby, easy to install and download any updates , connects with usb c to my iMac , no issues , have my quad cortex hooked up to it as my input device and the Scarlett as the output device in logic as I want to use the monitor feature to control the volume on my Adam 8's

Muzycznie jest ok, ale oprogramowanie jest do poprawy,

Nie będę się rozpisywał o jakości dźwięku, bo testów tego urządzenia i pomiarów jest już wystarczająco dużo w sieci. Ale napiszę - moim zdaniem - 3 konkretne wady:
1. Urządzenie nie wyłącza się samo po wyłączeniu komputera PC i wymaga wyłączenia osobnym wyłącznikiem.
2. Wskazania poziomów głośności i gain wskaźników led są zupełnie niejasne i niewiele z nich wynika. Nie ma żadnej skali. Po prostu coś tam mruga jak w bazarowch zabawkach.
3. Szerokości kanałów miksera w Focusrite Control 2 są absurdalnie duże. Aktualnie 16 kanałów miksera to 1900 pikseli i żeby zobaczyć wszystkie kanały trzeba przewijać na dole paskiem - zupełnie bez sensu.

Co ciekawe - wszystkie 3 opisane przez mnie wady można naprawić poprzez odpowiednie sterowniki i dodatkowe ustawienia w ustawieniach karty:
ad 1. Po wykryciu braku zasilania w porcie USB-C transmisji danych, zasilanie jest odcinane.
ad 2. Można na sztywno ustalić, że pozycja ledów na godzinie 12:00, to na przykład -6dB, to byłby to już jakiś punkt odniesienia.
ad 3. Wystarczy dodać "narrow mode" - wiele mikserów software'owych oferuje taką funkcję, żeby zmniejszyć szerokość wyświetlania. Ja obsługuję komputer myszką i nie potrzebuję wersji na ekrany dotykowe - a tak to teraz wygląda.
